This stuff turns like a dream. If you're light handed you can take it right down to the desired shape. Sand it and it's ready to go. I sand down to 12000 grade pad and have fantastic results. Awesome Stuff!

This stuff turns out amazing, creating pens with amazing depth and almost a 3D appearance. I find it far more difficult to rough than wood, your gouge must be really sharp and your hand must be steadier. I think it also takes longer to turn a pen with acrylic, but it glues very well and has a shine that is so nice.

I love this stuff. I was a bit skeptical since I'm biased toward wood, but it adds a very interesting dimension to my work. Turns like a dream and finishes to a very high gloss. Also produces some very interesting glue-ups when laminating multiple colors and combining with woods.

Thin streams of plastic ribbons squirt out from the gouge leaving a shiny surface that needs little finishing. The material finishes up with beautifully and there is no fading or darkening!
